This Acceptable Use Policy protects Excelax customers, infrastructure, and the wider internet. It applies to all content, traffic, applications, and activity using an Excelax service.
1. Illegal and harmful activity
You must not use a service to commit, promote, facilitate, or conceal unlawful activity. Prohibited use includes fraud, phishing, impersonation, malware, credential theft, trafficking, unlawful gambling, child sexual abuse material, terrorism-related activity, and content or conduct prohibited by applicable law.
2. Security abuse
You must not probe, scan, attack, access, or interfere with a system or account without authorisation. Botnets, denial-of-service activity, exploit distribution, cryptojacking, malicious redirects, command-and-control services, and deliberate circumvention of security controls are prohibited.
3. Spam and messaging abuse
You must not send unsolicited bulk messages, use purchased or harvested recipient lists, falsify message headers, operate open relays, or continue messaging recipients who have opted out. Mailing activity must follow applicable consent, identification, and unsubscribe requirements.
4. Intellectual property and privacy
You must not knowingly host or distribute content that infringes intellectual-property, privacy, confidentiality, or publicity rights. Complaints should identify the protected work or right, the relevant location, the complainant’s authority, and accurate contact information.
5. Resource and platform abuse
Shared hosting must not be used in a way that materially degrades service for others. Prohibited activity includes persistent excessive CPU, memory, disk, process, or mail use; public file-sharing archives; unauthorised proxies; cryptocurrency mining; and attempts to bypass plan limits. We may require optimisation, an upgrade, or removal of the offending workload.
6. Deceptive or abusive content
Sites must not misrepresent identity, imitate another organisation, collect information deceptively, or facilitate scams. Threats, targeted harassment, doxxing, and content intended to cause unlawful harm are prohibited.
7. Investigations and enforcement
We may investigate credible reports, preserve relevant records, restrict traffic, quarantine content, or suspend a service where reasonably necessary to protect users or comply with law. Urgent threats may be acted on without advance notice. Where appropriate, we will notify the customer and provide a reasonable opportunity to remedy the issue.
8. Reporting abuse
Reports should be sent through the Excelax contact page and include the affected domain or IP address, timestamps, supporting evidence, and the reporter’s contact details. False or abusive reports are prohibited.
9. Customer responsibility
You are responsible for keeping applications updated, using strong credentials, and addressing compromise promptly. A compromised service may be temporarily isolated even when the customer did not intentionally cause the abuse.
10. Policy changes
We may update this policy to respond to new threats, provider requirements, or legal obligations. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
